Stone Story

The turquoise stone featured in this ring was mined and cut in the 1970’s. Kingman turquoise is mined in one of the oldest and largest turquoise mines in North America. The Kingman mine was discovered over 1000 years ago in the Acerbate Mountains located 14 miles NW of Kingman, Arizona. This mine produces turquoise of all colors, however it is know most for its bright blue turquoise with black matrix. In addition this mine is one of the only mines known to produce turquoise nuggets.

Turquoise when worn acts as a protection stone and has strong healing properties. Wear it in jewelry and turquoise helps to rid you of any negative energies both within and around you.
