Join us on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm for this intermediate level silversmithing class.***
August 24th - September 28th. There will be no class on Tuesday, September 7th.
During this is a FIVE week session, you will create a pair of black onyx oval earrings with twisted rope detail and handmade earring wires.
All materials for the class will be provided.
Classes will take place at Hot Shops Art Center in Studio 220.
All you have to do is come and have some fun! Feel free to bring a notebook and take notes if you're a note taker.

THERE IS A PREREQUISITE FOR THIS CLASS! You must have completed at least one of the 4 week beginning silversmith classes. If you sign up and have not take the class prior, your money will be refunded. If you have taken a class elsewhere, please message me prior to signing up to discuss your skill level to determine if you are eligible to take this class.
Maximum class size is 8 students.
Classes are non-refundable.
If you miss any of your session and are unable to catch up and finish with the class, you will be able to make up the class during the available predetermined make up class time on Tuesday, October 5th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

What to Expect
In this class you will build upon the basic skills learned in the beginning silversmith class, and start working with more detailed design elements to add elements of interest to the earrings.
For this class, if you have long hair, you will be required to wear your hair back. As a safety precaution, do not wear loose clothing, scarves to anything with fringe of hanging strings as this is a fire hazard.
NOTE: If you are affected by Covid or suspect that you may have it, please do not come to class!! Message or call me and we can make private arrangements to makeup your class once your health is back to normal.
Hot Shops Art Center is located at 1301 Nicholas Street, Omaha, NE 68102. Classes will take place on the 2nd floor in studio 220. Parking is available on 13th Street. Enter through the large red door with the sculpture on top, then take your immediate right and head up the stairs to the 2nd floor. The studio is in the far back left corner.
